What Amazon requires

Amazon's product image standards for jewelry listings:

  • Resolution — at least 1000 px on the longest side (enables zoom).
  • Background — pure white RGB 255, 255, 255.
  • Product fill — the product must occupy at least 85% of the image frame.
  • File format — JPEG preferred. PNG, TIFF, GIF also accepted.
  • Single item — one jewelry piece per image (rings can be shown on finger, earrings in ears are typically disallowed for main image).
  • No overlays — no watermarks, logos, text, or promotional graphics on the main image.
  • No props — no boxes, ribbons, or stands in the main listing image.
